Prior to real estate, Mike produced large events, managed a graphic design studio, served for 2 years with the Peace Corps in West Africa, studied engineering, acted in theater and independent films, and traveled extensively. His love of the arts drew him to Brooklyn. Artists are the ones who turned Williamsburg around and made it great, and Mike believes that a healthy synergy between art and commerce is the key to future greatness.

In his spare time, Mike serves on the board of Triskelion Arts, enjoys yoga, throwing legendary parties, discovering new restaurants, seeing as much art and performance as he can fit in and attending Burning Man.
